About Şule Erkaya

Şule Erkaya is an Istanbul-based landscape architect working across landscape and spatial design. With over eighteen years of experience, her practice spans public spaces, gardens, historic environments and public art, from concept development and visualisation to detailed design and implementation supervision.

She graduated in Landscape Architecture from Istanbul University in 2008 and completed her master’s degree in the Department of City Planning at Yıldız Technical University in 2012. She is a PhD candidate in Landscape Architecture at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, with research focused on historic urban landscapes and landscape justice.
